Advisory Board Vice President

Bridget is a budget analyst for the state of Maryland’s Department of Budget and
Management, Office of Budget Analysis. Previously, Bridget worked as a Policy Fellow for
Baltimore City’s Mayor’s Office for Human Services on projects serving youth experiencing
homelessness, while completing her Master’s Degree in Public Policy at the University of
Maryland, Baltimore County. Her undergraduate degree is in Business Management and
Accounting. After completing her undergraduate degree she served as a Community
Economic Development Peace Corps volunteer in the northwest region of Cameroon. While in
Cameroon she began working with COSDEF founder Javnyuy Joybert teaching business classes
together at a local women’s empowerment center. After he established the Center for
Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Business Management Development (CELBMD) she taught
Corporate Entrepreneurship courses there to youth looking to start businesses and develop
skills to help them advance in their careers. Bridget has a passion for social entrepreneurship
applications and working to empower youths to develop themselves through business
education and leadership opportunities.
